Star celebrated for people-centric culture and practices at SLITAD People Development Awards

On August 4, 2024, STAR was recognized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development (SLITAD) for its sustained commitment to best-in-class human resource and development practices, and for continuing to set new and higher standards for fair and ethical employment in Sri Lanka’s apparel industry.

This marked STAR’s first time participating in the award ceremony, where the company was honored with the Gold Award for 2023/2024.
